Brandon Grainger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and has expertise in power electronics converter design for all voltage classes including topology, semiconductor devices, magnetics, and control design. He also works on power electronic applications suitable for grid integration, HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current), FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System), and DC micro grid infrastructure design and development.
